Hello there! May God bless you in your search for His truth. My name is Ray Lange, and I am the pastor of Christ’s Commission Church in Erath Louisiana. I have an associates degree from Andrew’s University in Berrin Springs, Michigan, where I focused my studies on theology, and pastoral ministry.  The ministry started off in our living room back in November of 2022, God’s grace and provision were with us and in July of 2023 we were blessed with the opportunity to move into a brick-and-mortar location for us to continue spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am also a husband to a wonderful Christian woman, named Jaeka, and together we have four beautiful blessings from the Lord, our children: Jaemeson, Rayna, Isla, and Helena.

At Christ’s Commission Church, we believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God, was God made in the flesh and that He suffered, died, and rose again on the third day, conquering death and the grave and giving us forgiveness of our sins through the shedding of His blood. We believe that Christ calls us to walk in the same manner as He walked, calling us to live obediently to His teachings and do the work that He has for us to do. Our services are on Saturday, the 7th day of the week, known as the Sabbath in the Bible. We believe that God instituted the Sabbath in creation in Genesis 2:2-3, before there was ever a Jew or Gentile, as a sign for His people to rest from their work and dedicate their time to the Heavenly Father in worship, prayer, and study of scripture.
